A plague is in the air.

And the world is in a panic mode! There is a total lockdown ir there is a plan for one by Governments. Nations are paralysed. Businesses are already counting their losses. Some may never recover from the devastation of COVID-19. Same with families.

But do you know that the issue is not so much about the pandemic but about YOUR response to it. You have a choice on how you respond. You may choose to follow the world and focus on consuming materials on social media that will paralyze you with fear, or YOU can choose to focus on how best you can use the free time on your hands.

You can take a course in an area you have always wanted to grow in. Lots of online courses out there for FREE.

Or you can begin to write that proposal. That new book. An online ministry or business to take advantage of a post-coronavirus world. This plague will certainly change the way we relate going forward. Are you prepared be one of those that will define the new world?

We have a lot to learn from the Jews when it comes to situations like we find ourselves. In the midst of 10 plagues that ravished Egypt, they experienced a transfer of wealth like never seen before:

“The people of Israel had also done as Moses told them, for they had asked the Egyptians for silver and gold jewelry and for clothing. And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked…” Exodus 12:35‭-‬36 ESV.

This is a season of wealth transfer. It is a season of divine favour. There are opportunities that are yours for the asking/taking. Be on the look out. Focus on your God and build your faith. Focusing on what the world is doing or saying now will only build fear. God says:

“For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the Lord . The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.” Exodus 12:12‭-‬13 ESV

And this is another lesson from the lives of the Jews. The Passover. “No plague shall befall you or destroy you.” In every crisis, God looks after His own! “I WILL PASSOVER YOU” There will be a PASSOVER for you in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Let this build your faith. Rise up in faith and shine even in these dark times.
